About The Health & Well-being Hub
Founded in Logan Central by Kholoud Abdalla, a Brisbanite with more than 20 years of active community service.
Founded by community, built for community
The Health & Well-being Hub was founded by Kholoud Abdalla — a Brisbanite with more than 20 years of active community service and a lifelong passion for helping people in need.
Kholoud saw how many families in Brisbane's Muslim community — Arabic-speaking, Somali, Afghan and Ethiopian families — were struggling to navigate the NDIS without a provider who truly understood their culture, their faith, and their language. Existing providers could offer competent support, but few could offer support that felt like it came from inside the community rather than outside it. She built The Health & Well-being Hub to fill that gap.
"I started this because I believe everyone deserves support that truly sees them — their faith, their culture, their language, their goals."

Our approach
We don't run a one-size-fits-all roster. Every participant's support is built around their own goals, routines, culture and preferences — including gender-matched support workers on request, dietary and religious observances accommodated as standard, and a team that speaks English, Arabic, Somali, Dari and Amharic.
We work with all NDIS plan types (agency managed, plan managed and self managed), and we aim to respond to every enquiry within 2 business hours.
Where we work
We're based at 73 Jacaranda Avenue, Logan QLD 4114, in Logan Central — one of Queensland's most culturally diverse communities. From there, our team supports participants across Logan, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Ipswich, as well as further afield in New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
